‘The kiss of death’ moan EastEnders fans after bosses line up ‘boring and dull’ storyline for star

EastEnders fans are convinced that a new storyline is going to be the ‘kiss of death’ for Chelsea Fox.

The character, who is played by Zaraah Abrahams, was seen kissing serial killer Gray Atkins in the latest scenes of the BBC soap opera.

Chelsea, who was previously involved in a relationship with Gray's late wife Chantelle, is now dating the villain without knowing he is a murderer.

But fans of the show are far from happy about the new storyline, and have taken to social media to complain.

One person wrote: "This Chelsea and Gray storyline is the kiss of death for Chelsea. She's going to end up dead, isn't she?"

Another added: "I can't believe they're actually going there with this storyline. It's so boring and dull."

A third person said: "I'm really not looking forward to this storyline. It's just going to be another depressing and predictable plot."

The storyline is the latest in a series of controversial plots that bosses have introduced to the show in recent years.

In 2020, fans were left outraged when it was revealed that Gray had killed Chantelle.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Chelsea and Gray, but it is clear that some EastEnders fans are not happy with the direction the storyline is going.
